I am a Southern Appalachian Naturalist.  I completed my certification at Tremont Institute in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park.  http://www.gsmit.org.

In 2011, I will have completed my Environmental Education certification with North Carolina through the Office of Environmental Education and Public Affairs.  http://www.eenorthcarolina.org

I am currently writing a book with my daughter, R. Brooke Priddy, who is the illustrator. 
It is called: 

Native Trees of the Southern Appalachian Mountains
A personal field guide.

I am also developing classes for our new nature school, Priddy Woods.  The classes are to begin in 2012.
